Day 1: ARRIVING IN BRECKENRIDGE

  • Shuttle to the Training Camp Hub from Denver International Airport (DIA) w/lunch served on board
  • Bicycle rental fitting & bicycle builds
  • Afternoon spin/easy run
  • Intros & camp briefing post dinner

Day 2 – 6: HIGH ALTITUDE TRAINING

  • Swim:
    • 1 or 2 laps of 106 West swim course in Dillon Reservoir (each lap is 1.2 miles)
    • Green Mountain Reservoir
    • Stroke technique and drill / speed workout at Boulder Rec Facility at 10,000 feet
  • Ride:
    • Loveland Pass, including full preview of 106 West Half-Ironman bike course to Montezuma
    • Infamous Copper Triangle
    • Ute Pass
  • Run on:
    • Trails along Green Mountain Reservoir
    • Hilly terrain of the entire Breckenridge Trail Network
    • Full 13.1 mile preview of 106 West Half-Ironman run course

Each day you will also do one or more of these activities:

  • Yoga
  • Core training and stretching routine
  • NormaTec Recovery Session
  • Massage**

Day 7: THE FINISH LINE (OPTIONAL FOR LATE DEPARTURES)

  • Breakfast & coffee
  • Morning spin or trail run
  • Airport shuttle
  • Relax & absorb a great training week in the Rocky Mountains!
